Tropical Fruit World is located in the Tweed Valley region, just 15 to 20 minutes south of the Gold Coast Airport. Halfway between Surfers Paradise and Byron Bay, and just ten minutes west of the coastal villages of Kingscliff and Cabarita Beach.
The Tweed Valley is an area renowned for its rich volcanic soil and lush rainforests. This prime location enables the cultivation of a diverse array of over 500 fruits from around the globe, making it a unique destination for both tourists and fruit enthusiasts.

The Duranbah Farmers Markets run on site at Tropical Fruit World every Saturday from 8am, hosting live music performed by local artists, kids entertainment, as well as local growers and artists selling a range of fresh produce, flowers, baked goods art and home goods.
A Sweet and Tangy Superfruit from the Amazon Basin Making a Juicy Impact on our Farm
When it comes to tropical fruits, there’s so much more to explore beyond the usual mangoes and pineapples. One of the true hidden gems is the Achacha fruit—a deliciously tangy and sweet tropical fruit that’s slowly gaining popularity. Originally from the Amazon basin in Bolivia, Achacha (Garcinia humilis) is grown right here on our tropical fruit farm in Tweed Valley, Australia where it has become a strong favorite among both our team and visitors.

If you’re looking for something truly special, pink dragon fruit is a must-try. This rare and exotic fruit, also known as pitaya, is one of the most stunning tropical fruits you’ll ever see—and it tastes just as incredible as it looks.
While dragon fruit is grown in various regions, the pink variety remains a rarity, and we’re proud to say that our farm is one of the few places where you can experience it fresh from the source.
